Pick up your car anywhere in Montenegro
Montenegro is small — 180 km from the Croatian border down to the Albanian — but the terrain is dramatic enough that where you pick up your car really matters. The right choice can save you two hours on arrival day and €80 in one-way fees. The wrong one can cost you a morning in traffic.
We operate 12 pickup points: three international airports, seven coastal cities and two inland hubs. Delivery to most hotels, ports and train stations on the coast is free. Pick a pin on the map below to see the full guide for that location, or read the groupings beneath.
Airports
Tivat Airport (TIV) is the closest to Kotor, Budva and the Bay — under 20 minutes to most hotels. Podgorica Airport (TGD) is the capital's hub, useful for Nikšić, Skadar Lake, the south coast and the mountains. Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) in Croatia is the cross-border hack: often cheaper flights, 35 minutes to Herceg Novi.
Coastal cities
Our coastal pickup points run north to south along the Adriatic: Herceg Novi at the mouth of the bay, Perast and Kotor inside it, Tivat on the marina peninsula, Budva on the Riviera, then Bar and Ulcinj heading south to the Albanian border. Free delivery to hotel or port within the town limits.
Inland pickups
Podgorica is Montenegro's capital — best for Skadar Lake, Ostrog Monastery and the south. Nikšić is the staging town for Durmitor, Piva Lake and the northern mountains. Both have lower rental rates than the coast.

Delivery and meet-and-greet
Delivery to your hotel, Airbnb, ferry terminal, train station or marina is free within the town limits of any pickup point. Out-of-town deliveries are charged at €1/km each way. At airports we meet you at arrivals with your name on a sign — average handover is 12 minutes. If your flight is delayed we track it automatically; no fees for delays under four hours.
One-way and cross-border
Any location to any location one-way is €25–€80 depending on distance; cross-border to Croatia, Bosnia, Albania, Kosovo or Serbia is arranged at booking with full green-card insurance included. The Dubrovnik ↔ Tivat pair is the most common — most customers fly into one and out of the other. Give us 48 hours notice for cross-border permits.
Frequently asked questions
Which airport should I fly into for Montenegro?
Tivat for the Bay of Kotor, Budva and the north coast. Podgorica for the capital, the south coast and the mountains. Dubrovnik in Croatia is often the cheapest flight and is 35 minutes from Herceg Novi — our one-way fee makes this a serious option.
Is hotel delivery free?
Yes within the town limits of any of our 12 pickup points. Out-of-town deliveries are charged €1/km each way. Tell us the hotel or Airbnb address at booking and we quote it up-front.
Can I pick up and drop off at different locations?
Yes. One-way within Montenegro is €25–€80 depending on distance. One-way between Tivat and Dubrovnik airports is our most popular combination and runs around €60.
Which location is cheapest to rent from?
Rates are identical nationally — the difference is the delivery fee. Collecting at an airport or directly in town is free; delivery to an out-of-town address is charged per km.
How long does airport pickup take?
Average handover is 12 minutes at Tivat and Podgorica. We meet you at arrivals with a sign, walk you to the car in the airport lot (Tivat) or 2-minute shuttle (Podgorica), and run through the contract car-side.
Do you cover the northern mountain towns?
Nikšić is our northernmost permanent pickup. For Žabljak, Kolašin, Plužine and Pljevlja we deliver the car — typically €40–€90 each way — or you collect at Nikšić or Podgorica Airport.
